One day, a young girl wanders into the arcade, seemingly worried. seeing no one around that isn't preoccupied, she goes over to play Pokemon Leaf Green in a corner

I waved my hand in Angelica's face to quiet her down. "what's wrong? did something happen to you?" I asked
"your clothes..." Angelo said. "they're all tattered; did you get in a fight?"

the girl looked up to see that Team Blacklight had gone. she looked around to see if anyone was watching, then drank down a small flask of liquid. after it was gone, she turned back to her game. playing for two days straight now, she had beaten the game and was hunting for Johto pokemon in-game.

Malachite and Ebony were, in the meantime, playing Pokemon XD nearby. Malachite, spectating on the events unfolding nearby, stepped away from his twin sister's game. What'cha doing, little girl?
Ebony paused and saved the game, removing her SD card and pocketing it. Yeah, looks like there's something on your mind...

for the first time in two days, the girl got up. instead of talking or crying though, she ran out of the arcade, with a pace that dared the others to follow.

the two made chase; meanwhile, I was still busy trying to find out what Angelica needed us at the arcade for, so I went to the back and entered the passcode for entering the base.

Ok, here's what happened:
Malachite and Ebony chased that little girl through the woods, but she had gotten ahead easily. when they tried to keep following, they found trees toppled and destroyed in a path through the forest, leading up to a strange, abandoned labratory.
the two Sableye moved warily through the lab, following the immense footprints of what seemed to be a monster.
Ebony...? just wondering, but-
these footprints came from a Tyranitar. you don't think that girl-
she stopped short at the sound of whimpering. there were no more footprints on this upper floor, but there were still destroyed walls.
the siblings phased through a wall as a shortcut, and right into the room where the girl was.
just leave me alone...
the girl's clothes were ripped. for pokemorphs, their clothes appear to meld into their bodies, but this? Malachite looked confused and disgusted, while Ebony looked deviously amused.
what happened to you...?
are you...
a monster? the mean people that used to live here put needles in my needles in me and stuck me on a table until they forced me to turn into a monster...
she said nothing else, cut off by her own crying. Malachite promised that they'd take down the evil people that did it.
for now, the twosome are nowhere to be found, but they'll be back...
