I was walking down the street, bathed in neon light... fun right? I pull my collar up higher around my neck and glare at anyone who looks my way. I could smile at them.. let them see what they want to see. But no I like it this way better, where they move as far as possible on the sidewalk so they dont have to look at me anymore. Thats when I hear the music... MY kind of music. The bass was thrumming through my ears now as I got closer. Thats it... Rock Club. Pushing through the doors the music washes over me with a loud cord that had been strumed on the guitar. I smile as I watch a local wannabe band show what they got on the stage. Letting my gaze search the place my eyes land on a vacant table, one fit for two.. but it'll work just right for me. I plant myself in the chair with a slight oof, these chairs are a bit on the hard side. Craning my neck around I watch the band. Getting lost in the music... thats what got me. I closed my eyes and let the music run it's fingers through my hair. That's when they grabbed me.
